I have ridden through and amongst the Swiss alps and sat by the lakes, cannot think of more pleasant surroundings, but yes...expensive!

Need to put this into perspective:

She had no idea we had been together 25 years (not married)

She wanted a hoover!

She got me a step ladder. (It's beautiful!)

We were gonna have some sardines and a few beers for lunch at a chiringuita on the beach. Caught that morning, they impale a handul of fish on a stick and push the stick into the sand next to an open fire on the beach. Simple and unbeatable and costs about 4 euros...

You should take her mate,and buy her a nice watch while yer at it,there are millions of em, i got away with a handbag but that was bad enough,mind you she's put up with me for near on 25 years so i figured its the least i could do,literally

Rutters, that is some water that one! i thought Wraysbury was a decent size at 120acres but this one is 580 SQUARE KILOMETERS !!! ( anyone know how many acres that is ?!) nevertheless within 20mins of being there i found a group of feeding Tench, top dat !!!!! Also found some very nice Barbel in the river where it runs out of the lake,you should see that river,its Awesome. Yeah had a brilliant time but Man is Geneva (clue there !)...

Nice Tench Miz. Was it from the big untapped Swiss water you texted about.I think I know the one, you can see the bars from the nearby chairlift.Hope you had a good time.

Talking of Miz's lump, how did we end up with an even better looking face to greet us on the homepage! Nice Tench, by the way.The surrounding grey tones really bring out it's natural colour.

I've started shifting TFW onto the new server (after tidying up some of the dead links!). You'll notice some strange things happening over the next 24 hours I'm afraid. The forums should remain unaffected.....

Hi Chaps,

I'm afraid that TFW is in a bit of a state with broken links and other areas not working. During the next week I'm going to be tidying it up and moving it to a new server. There may also be some more changes in the pipeline though I'll let you know more about this closer to the time.
