Does anyone have any suggestions for some good tench fishing in essex?

I've never been there but Bovingdon has lots of very big tench in it. From what I gather though it is small and very busy with carp anglers.

Sorry, not my area, but I am sure if you introduce yourself and give us an idea of the type of fishing your after and perhaps the sort of fishing you've
done in the past, more info will come your way....I heard Bovingdon is VERY busy but not been there myself

lived there for 20 years you could try rickets mere,cemex ticket at maldon,or maldon angling they have a lot of small meres ,lakes but they dont go much bigger
than 8s bovington is on the colchester ticketits a s--t hole with bivves all over the place the doubles in there have seen everything but still come out on a
regular bassis to the carp anglers that live on it ,chelmstord also have a good few waters with a few fish in them but mainly carp i hope this helps you can
