had my first go today since the rivers shut ...........
i have 2 waters in mind , 1 a large pit , t'other a smaller pond , it was the latter i fished today
2 rods , feeders on both with simple helicopter rigs , short hooklinks
red maggott with fakes on the hooks
1 proper bite , felt the fish for a few seconds but the line parted

wind was all over the place making the float a bad option , so stuck with the feeders for 6 hours
a blank , but you have to start some where
