I notice on the barbel site that Eric Hodson has passed away. Eric was pivotal in the establishment of the organized big fish movement through the late sixties
and seventies. I found him a kindly person always willing to answer my constant questions. Very astute with the politics of angling at that time.I know his
quality of life has not been very good recent years but may he rest in peace now!

I met him back in the mid eighties at Johnson's. He seemed a nice old feller then.
