I'm still catching a few, but the bigger fish are noticeably invisible in comparison to the average sized fish that i am stalking. I feel that the bigger fish may have gone back into the main lake after spawning, but i may be wrong. Mind you, the wind has made it difficult to clearly spot fish where i am fishing and ive noticed recently that they seem to be ignoring my maggot hookbaits when i have found fish. My try casters on the next trip out. Hope you are all having a few. Paul

Had few sessions on Large Lake and bagged up on bream. I could see tench cruising around the swim but the bream always seemed to get to the bait first somehow. Still they are decent slabs and it beats sitting it out on A or B and generally blanking. cheers Paul

Had five and lost one but nothing of any size, three 4s and two 3s. Got a feeling its a good venue for numbers, but few sizeable fish, unless i was unlucky . I was told that there were possibly some very good fish in 34, by a carp angler. Yet to be seen by me. But, it has to be one of the most beautiful of pits on the CWP and i had a really enjoyable session. Posts: 6 (22/07/09 20:52:14) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Paul I have the same feeling about 34, plenty of fish but less chance of something out of the ordinary. 32 is big, very weedy and hardly fished by anyone other than carp anglers. Plenty of bream to keep you busy when the tench aren't playing. Had 4 bream and 2 tench at the week end just fishing as few hours one evening, best tench 5-7, best bream 6-9. Plenty going on with liners etc so obviously lots of fish in the swim. Far more appealing than a dead Bristol Avon at present which seems to have more otters than barbel in it As with 34, had whole lake to myself for the evening. cheers Paul cheers
