DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON THE FENN POOLS IN THE WEST MIDLANDS OR ANOTHER POOL NEAR PADDY ARM FURTHER DOWN.

I fished Fenn Pool a few times back in the mid 80's.In those days the tench went to about 10lb which was considered large for the area.The place was a
complete s**thole and over run by the largest rats I have ever seen and the locals were like something out of "Deliverance".

Yes I went (wide waters just near) loads of tench, But what with kids tryting to swim in the next peg, another angler had his car nearly
pinched he chased them off and some youths riding a Honda 50 I wont go again in a hurry

Did you have the misfortune to speak to one of the locals?Do they still preface every other word with God.One night when I was there a couple of locals (I
think they were male and female,but its difficult to tell)decided to get romantic in the bushes behind me.
Get yer God drawers off, I want a God Sh*g....That god rats just bit me god leg As i said like extras from Deliverance. And to think they allow them to breed . |

I aint tried fen pool, but have you tried the farmers pool in tividale, its right on the site of warrens hall riding stables, its a bit off a tip but the tench
are cracking, just please take your litter home with you.
